    Exporting - DrawText/Layout/Images -

    Hello,

    When i export my strategy as a compiled assembly with "protect" enabled, how can i make sure that my log file also get's copied to the zip file? How will it automatically place the logo in the folders of my customers? Also, my brushes(everything from onrender) doesn't appear when i load the assembly to my test server.

    Is there something specific i have to do to make sure it works on test/customer machines?

    Hello priceisking,

    For images or other files which may be required with your export, you will need to use the Templates folder for these resources as that is the only location which you can have the platform extract resources to. We have a guide about this in the help guide in the following page:


    You can include extra files, however you need to do it i the way shown here. You would also need to update any file paths you use to reflect where the files are extracted.


    Also, my brushes(everything from onrender) doesn't appear when i load the assembly to my test server.
    Do you mean the defaults you used or what specifically do you mean by this? Do you mean nothing is being rendered? If nothing is being rendered, are you seeing errors in the log or NinjaScript output?

      Ok Great. I will go through this and get back if it still is an issues. Regarding the render, i think it failed to enable the strategy because of missing images hence not loading anything from onrender. Will try the template route and see if that makes a difference.

        Hello priceisking,

        That would make sense with the missing image, if the script is having errors the render would be halted.

        Once you have tested this further, if you still have issues please let me know.
