FXCM real-time simulated account compare to the real account.

By default, does the FXCM real-time simulated account behaves exactly like the real account.
How integrated is NT8 with FXCM?
Can I trust that what I get with the real-time simulation is close to trading on the real account?

    i.e.
Does the stop-out get triggered exactly like in the real account?
    How about "buying power"?
Is the leverage set to 50:1

What considerations must I add to the script to account to the disparities if there are any?

    Thank you!

    Hello johnnybegoode ,

The simulation engine used to fill Sim101 orders in real-time uses a scientific approach to determine fill probability by including a number of variables including: ask/bid volume, trade volume, time (to simulate order queue position), and random time delays for switching between order states.

Below is a link to the help guide on the Simulator.

All order types use the same rules to fill as orders on a live exchange.
In real-time orders would fill similar to how they would on a live exchange.

Below is a link to a 3rd party website that describes how a Stop Market order works.

Historically, NinjaTrader will use historical data. With Forex data this is Last data which is Bid data only. For historical data it may be necessary to add a 1 tick ask and 1 tick bid series for accurate historical executions.

"Does the stop-out get triggered exactly like in the real account?"
I was referring to the "stop-out level"

        Hello johnnybegoode,

No, NinjaTrader does not automatically exit a position based on loss and margin as some brokerages may or may not do on the brokerage end.
