How to fill Strategy column in Trade Performance window NT8

When running a Trade Performance in NT8 my "Strategy" column always come out empty. Would be beneficial to be able to distinguish between various strategies in the performance window. Does anyone know how to get a strategy to write its name in a way that is picked up by this column?

Hello Jesperboll, thanks for your note.

The SampleMACrossover strategy is displaying for me, as well as saved ATM templates. Its possible the display name is overridden in the strategy. Did you write the strategy? Are you able to view the source code or is this compiled into a dll from a vendor?

Hi Chris,

I did the strategy in the strategybuilder wizard - is there a particular naming or referencing I need to do in the code to reflect it property? I can view and adjust the code as needed.

That is not expected, the DisplayName property is not editable through the builder. Could you kindly Export your script and post it here so I can have a look? This random one for example does not write to the Strategy column.

Hi Jesper, thanks for your patience.

The strategy made a trade and I do see it within the Trade Performance window. In the strategy setup menu, did you erase the "Label" property? This could be the cause. I am running the script again with the label cleared out to see what comes up as the strategy name in Trade Performance.

It suddenly started printing the strategy name fine! Don't know what was wrong initially but all runs well now.

Hello, thanks for your post.

There is no particular naming you should stick to except for using special characters (#$%^&*) The "Name" property of the script is what will reflect the display in Trade Performance.
