    Strategy chart freezes, strategy not updated

    Hello,

    I'm using NT8, with IB connector. My strategy is attached to a chart.
    For some reason, always when orders are actively being filled, chart with the strategy stops updating, and no new bars are received. Manually submitted orders are not working either.
    This never happens when working in simulation mode. The problem is 100% reproducible.

    Please assist.

    Thanks for your post.

    Are there any errors on the logs tab of your Control Center? If so, what do these errors report?

    When you activate this strategy all other charts continue updating as expected, but the chart the strategy is on does not?

    Did you write this strategy yourself or did you get it from a third-party?

      Well, I do not see any specific errors in the log. The last entries look like this:

      2018-04-16 11:12:09:336|3|4|There are no email share services defined. You need to define one and set "Default" to true for email to work.

      I have only 1 chart with 1 strategy opened. After the freeze, if I open another chart for the same stock, it's still not updated, even if there's no strategy associated with it.

      And I've developed the strategy myself, so I have the full source code.

        Hello gena72,

        Please write in to PlatformSupport(at)NinjaTrader(dot)com and reference this forum post.

        In your email please attach your log, and trace folders, and include your strategy as well.

        You can do this by going to the Control Center>Help>Mail to Platform Support.
        Include the strategy as an attachment which should be located in your \Documents\NinjaTrader 8\bin\Custom\Strategies\ folder.
        Ensuring 'Log and Trace Files' is checked will include these files. This is checked by default.
