Why do enum properties not restore in analyzer when code compiled

When you compile a strategy, any enum value that was previously set in the analyzer window (i.e. backtest) is re-initialized to the default value. Why is this not serialized out and in like all of the other properties? This is a rather large pain while doing iterative development. There is an old thread that talks about this, but no solution is provided. Is there some way to get around this by providing serialize methods?

In my testing I'm experiencing the same. I'm going to do some further testing and check with our QA team to see if this is expected or if this might be something we need to have our developers take a look at or put in a feature request for. I have confirmed with our QA team that this issue is being looked at by our developers and currently it looks as though this will be fixed in the upcoming NInjaTrader version 8.0.20.0.

When this version is released, a notice will be posted in the News and Announcements section of the forums. I do not currently have a date for its release.
