Unmanaged orders and reconnecting orders

Hi NinjaTrader --

Do you have code examples on how to 'reconnect' to live unmanaged orders after a strategy has been restarted? If so, could you please provide a link to it?

We run a live strategy (via Dorman) that has disconnected on occasion and would like a way to reconnect to the existing "oco orders" that are in "working" state.

Hello Big Surf,

A NinjaScript Strategy can try to resume orders only if the strategy originally placed the orders.

It will not be able to resume orders that are placed manually or from another instance of a strategy.

Thank you, I read it through. The question i have is this:

1. We currently run 3 to 4 strategies live in parallel
2. We do not manual
3. Does the help guide on syncing the strategies work when there's 3 to 4 strategies NT needs to reconcile?

Hello Big Surf,

Hopefully you are running these strategies on 3 different accounts or 3 different instruments..

I would never recommend running multiple strategies on the same account and same instrument.

However, each strategy is independent and will only resume orders that instance of the strategy placed. It will not be able to resume orders placed by other instances of a strategy.
