Adding Trailing Stop

I created a simple strategy using the Strategy builder and I need to add a trailing stop.
What to insert , how do I insert that and where exactly. I am a trader but not good with coding.

Thanks for your post and welcome to the NinjaTrader forums!

In the strategy builder you set the Profits, stop loss or trailing stop in the "stops and targets" window that will show after you click next from the conditions and actions section.

Please note that you can have a fixed stoploss or a trailing stop on any given order but you cannot use both on the same order. If you do, only the fixed stop will be used, the trail stop would be ignored.

To select the trail stop, in the "stops and Targets" window, click the "add" at the lower right which will open a window of stops and target selections. The trail stop is the last section, you would need to determine how to trail by the mode (ticks, currency, pips, etc) and then specify that value, so for a 10 tick trailing stop you would select "tick" for the mode and then enter 10 for the value.
