Strategy: Stop/target handling

Hello heavy,
Thank you for your post.
The message that you received is a deliberate message from the platform notifying you that it has taken an action to change the Stop/Target Handling based on how the Strategy was written. It is an expected message/behavior and is not a bug. The strategy will have to be tailored to using StopTargetHandling.ByStrategyPosition if you wish to use currency based stop orders in your strategy.
It's also important to understand that Currency based stops and targets will be placed differently depending on the quantity of the order placed. For example, if you had a order for a single contract and it has a currency based stop at $400, that stop would be placed where it would be at a $400 loss. However, if you use a quantity of 2, the stop would be placed at $200 in loss below the current price for a total loss of $400 between the two contracts.
Please let me know if I may be of further help.Kate W.NinjaTrader Customer Service
