Thanks for opening the thread.
Alerts can be triggered from a strategy in the Strategy Builder, however these are simply alert notifications that will play a sound and/or log a message in the Alerts Log window. These are not the same as Alerts that we configure on a chart that can be used to submit orders.
Logic would have to be defined in the strategy to control when your strategy alert fires and also for your order submissions. Setting up logic in the Strategy Builder is similar to building conditional alerts on a chart.
I've attached a quick example showing how an alert and entry order can be fired from logic in the Strategy Builder. For more guidance on using the Strategy Builder, I recommend viewing the Strategy Builder 301 tutorial,
