Manual Closing Strategy Position Request to Modify Stops and Targets Feature Request

Since there is such a large request to be able to manually exit strategy driven positions IF we could implement the ability to create a stop loss and/or profit target with out strategies and THEN after entering a strategy implemented position have the ability from the chart to move that Stop or Target to a new area of our choice one we studied the current support and resistance levels of actual live charts AND HAVE THE ORDER STAY where we adjust them to.

Currently on the next tick the Stops or Target order move back to there preset levels implemented by the Strategy

Thank you for your post.

What you're described is exactly what strategies are meant to do by default - automatically manage your stops and targets. Strategies are not intended to be manually manipulated in most cases.

However, what you're wanting would be possible via the use of ATM Strategies in a NinjaScript Strategy. There's actually an example of this built into the platform, called Sample ATM Strategy. If your strategy utilizes ATM strategies, those allow you to manually manipulate the stops and targets.

Please note you'll need to have a manually configured ATM Strategy called "AtmStrategyTemplate" created in an order entry window such as the SuperDOM for this strategy to work. It will also only work on real time data, and cannot be used in a Strategy Analyzer backtest. However, you could use Market Replay data in the Playback connection to backtest.

Also if you have the ATMStrategyTemplate running can you continue to have you other indicator driven exits as well

No, it is not possible to utilize ATM strategies in a Strategy Builder strategy - the code would need to be unlocked and the logic manually added.

And yes, it would be possible to have other indicators trigger the strategy to exit using ATMStrategyClose when you'd like the strategy to be exited:
