Hello JTizz,
Thank you for your post.
You'd just need to uncheck Exit on Session Close in the Strategy Properties before the strategy is started. If it's already running, you'd need to disable it first in order to to uncheck that box.

Hello markjd123,
Thank you for your replies.
Exit on session close logic executes once. If your strategy doesn't specifically limit taking trades after that point, it's possible that a trade could be taken after Exit on Session Close logic executes.
You mentioned that your strategy has set hours, could you give an example of the time filter logic your strategy is using?
Thanks in advance; I look forward to assisting you further.Kate W.NinjaTrader Customer Service

Hello markjd123,
Thank you for your reply.
NinjaTrader lists Trading Hours templates in their hours for whatever time zone they are in, so CME Futures, for example, the trading hours template used for NQ would show on the platform in the Trading Hours window as CST, but applying that to a chart, bars will show in your time zone because it automatically translates it to your time set on your PC.

Hello markjd123,
Thank you for your reply.
If you're +6 ahead of CST, the close time would be at 4pm CST so in your time zone, that would put the close time right at 10 pm your time, assuming you are trading CME US Index Futures.
Please let us know if we may be of further assistance to you.

Hi all,
If I set this feature up in the OnStateChange() method, but then put conflicting values on the UI, which is followed and which is ignored?
Thank you,
Tim
