    Unmanaged Orders Basics

Q1 - if isunmanaged = true then can I combine both managed AND unmanaged order methods in the same strategy script?

Q2 - can you provide a simple example of an unmanaged order and the code to set its stoploss.

Many thanks and regards to all.

    Hello elliot5,

For the first question that is not possible. It would be either managed or unmanaged, the two modes are for two different use cases.

You can find an unmanaged sample that works with a trailing stop in the following link. It would essentially be the same process if you wanted a stationary stoploss, you just wouldn't do the movement part of the logic. The sample otherwise shows the basics of working with orders and the order events which are requirements in the unmanaged approach. https://ninjatrader.com/support/foru...s-cs-expecting
