Running Strategy Analizer using NinjaScript

Hi,

I want to know if it is possible to auto-optimize a strategy using NinjaScript. For instance, when the market is close (5 - 6 pm), I want to automatically estimate the optimal parameters for that strategy in that particular day, and use those parameters in the next trading session automatically without open the Strategy Analyzer and do it manually. Is there any way to make this happen?

There is no current way to run a Strategy Optimization from a script.

However, I have added a vote for you to a current feature request to allow backtests and optimizations to be run via NinjaScript without the need to use the Strategy Analyzer. This request is being tracked under the number SFT-631.

As with all feature requests, interest is tracked before implementation is considered, so we cannot offer an ETA or promise of fulfillment. If implemented, it will be noted in the Release Notes page of the Help Guide.

Hello! Yes. this would be very useful and I have seen the request come up a few times (ability to call optimizer within NinjaScript or strategy)... this would be helpful to call in very small date/time range as the resources are significant but would be great to call even for last 60 minutes with parameters passed in and retrieve the results from the best scenario returned.
