Start behavior Wait Until Flat

If there are 2 separate strategies running in 1 account on the same instrument and start behavior is set to "Wait Until Flat"...

If strategy 1 is in a trade and strategy 2 fires a trade will the 2nd strategy enter a trade or remain flatbecause there is already an open position in the account from strategy 1?

In general, we would not advise running multiple strategies on the same instrument on the same account as the strategies, in both cases, will run according to their logic and will continue placing orders based on that logic regardless of the actual account position. Strategies are unaware of other strategies (or manual orders).

To answer your question, the only reason Strategy 2 would not enter a trade is if it (strategy 2) has an open historical order that it is waiting to close before submitting a real-time order. Strategy 2 has no idea of strategy 1. If on start-up Strategy 2 did not have a historical open order and if strategy 2 entry conditions were true, it will place a live order regardless of strategy 1. If strategy 1 was long and strategy 2 placed a short order, the account would be flattened however both strategies would continue as if they were still in a position and would continue placing exit orders which would be real orders that will get filled.
