    Chart Panel - Fix Text

I am using Fixed Text on my strategy chart to display some values (swing high value - swing low value etc...

The price bars and indicators can overlay this text making it unreadable.

Is it possible to put text into a chart panel so the text is not overlaid? Or is there some other solution?

    Hello sdauteuil,

    Thanks for your post.

Yes, you can put the text into an indicator panel if you wish. When you add the indicator, select "new panel" to create its own panel.

If you want to keep the text on the main chart, you can either move the price bars and any indicators in the panel down by holding down the Ctrl key and then left click in the price column and drag down until they are clear and release the mouse button. This maintains the scale however it is likely that the bottom part may now be not visible and likely you will have to adjust again.

A simpler solution would be to change the chart "Margin upper". To do this, in the price column, right mouse click and select "properties". In the chart panel window that pops up, change the Margin upper value to something greater than the default of 6. This will reduce the display of the bars and indicators so you likely will want to find a compromise that gets the most display you can.
