    Breakeven and Trailing ATM

    Hello,

I am trying to create the following ATM Strategy with a Trailing Stop and am at a loss to get it right. Any help would be super appreciated.

    Order Qty. - 3
Initial Stop Loss - 21 Ticks
    Take Profit #1 - Qty. 2 @ 7 Ticks
    Move to Breakeven -4
    Take Profit #2 - Qty. 1 @ 80 Ticks
Profit Target 24 - Move SL to 21
Trailing Stop - Every +5 tick move SL =5 tick

    Thanks!

Hello jrp2099, thanks for your post.

That kind of strategy would be similar to this setup:

For the "Move to Breakeven -4" you would need to set up a stop strategy for the first target, and define at what profit trigger(between 1 and 7) you want the stop to move to break even.

Please also make sure to test your ATM strategies using the Simulated Data Feed. This will let you control the direction of the market to make testing strategies very simple.

Please let me know if I can assist any further.

Thanks but I'm confused trying to make the link you sent that you say is similar work.

Is there any way you could show me the entries for what I asked like many other posts I've seen.

      Here's my description again:

I want a 7 tick PT#1 with Qty of 2 and move to BE-4. (Shouldn't that go in the Profit Trigger line as 7, -4)?

Then I want the second PT to trail 21 ticks back and move every 5 ticks.

Maybe my initial description wasn't clear. Hopefully this is better.

      Appreciate your help.

Hello jrp2099, thanks for your reply.

If your first profit target is 7 ticks, a 7 tick profit trigger would not work for a break even because the PT would fill at 7 ticks of profit. You must pick a profit trigger value between 1 and 6 to have any break even happen on the first profit target. If you need to second stop loss to trail 21 ticks behind, set the Stop Loss value to 21 in the trailing stop strategy, set the Frequency to 5, and pick a profit trigger for the trailing stop to start.

Please let me know if I can assist any further.
