Hello Chelsea,
with this improvements I now see two dots, I don't know why I can't see the first dot before your tipps.

Thank you very much for your time and effort, I will build the strategy further to make the best profit.

By the way, anyone else who reads this, has anybody created a successful restest strategy?

Hello Chelsea,
after a few tests the dots are visible (in 6E Future), but they are making no entries or entries when they don't have to. Sometimes there are thee Dots in one day.
Is there one condition not declared correctly?
Attached you find some screenshots and my strategy (I added only a TimeFilter to identify the best trades).

Hello Andreas,

No order was placed because the position was still long and Entries per direction is 1.

If you want to place more than one entry in the direction of a position, without exiting the position first, set Entries per direction to a number as large as the number of orders you want to place in that direction.

For example set this to 999, and you can place up to 999 orders in a direction.


Enable TraceOrders and open the NinjaScript Output window if you want to see the messages of why orders are ignored, automatically cancelled, or rejected.

Hello Chelsea,
yes, that's right and makes sense. Sorry for that.
But he is sometimes drawing the dots for the first triggered action on a different day than he makes an order entry and reversed.
As you see on the 12.May 2021 at 6E at the attached screenshot, he starts with an entry, makes a trigger, makes an entry and finishes the day with a trigger.
I think we need a last condition to set this back daily, or am I wrong?

Hello Andreas,

If you want the conditions to have to be true within the same session, you can add to condition set 1 setting FirstActionTriggered to false. This would reset when Bars.IsFirstBarOfSession is true.
