    What is the cause of this error?

    Hi folks,

    Can anyone tell me what this means? What is the cause of this error and how might I rectify it?

    Thanks for your post.

    What version of NinjaTrader8 are you using? (Look under help>About)

    Is this a strategy builder strategy or a Ninjascript created strategy?

    What specific trailing stop method is being used?

    What is the Calculate setting of the strategy?

      Hi Paul,

      Thank you for your reply.

      Version is... 8.0.23.2 64-bit

      It is a Strategy Builder created strategy.

      I am using a simple 20 Point Trailing Stop. I also have three additional exit methods based on relationship between RSI and Price, EMA and Price, and a Breakeven once current price > certain price. Each of these use the 'Exit (long or shot) position' method.

      Calculate is on price change.

        Thanks for your reply.

        You may have a conflict between your breakeven and trailing stop. As you can see the error is submitting an order at a price that an order is already at.
        If possible I would like to review your strategy. If that works for you, please send an e-mail with your strategy source code attached to PlatformSupport[at]NinjaTrader[dot]com. Mark the e-mail subject Atten Paul H. Ticket #3142485. In the body of the e-mail, please include a link to this thread for reference.

        Your strategy source code file can be found in Documents>NinjaTrader8>bin>Custom>Strategies> it will be a .cs file type


        I see that you're using an older version of NinjaTrader 8. To update NinjaTrader, please follow the steps below:
        • First, copy your license key from NinjaTrader under Help> License Key then exit NinjaTrader
        • Click on the link: https://ninjatrader.com/PlatformDirect
        • Enter your license key and press Submit
        • Select 'Download'
        • Critical: Before running the installer, ensure NinjaTrader is closed.
