STOP Trade execution on 3rd party strategy

I have 3rd party strategy which is working fine.
I want to create new strategy and stop trade execution on 3rd party strategy upon daily profit target met.

Thank you for the post.

In this situation it would be best to contact the third party to request that feature of the strategy you are using. While you could write an indicator or strategy which monitors the same instrument and trades to it the original strategy will not be aware of that to stop trading. It is possible that the original strategy will send conflicting orders or actions after your custom script manages the account as it was not expecting to have a daily profit met originally.

One option here would be to first allow the third party strategy to enter into a position or submit trades as needed then disable the strategy. You could then use an indicator to do other actions on the instrument/account after that point.

Hello surya,

Yes that would be manually. For the third party item to have different outcomes than it is programmed to have you would need to contact the developer to implement those features. You could manually disable the strategy after it had entered to avoid it trading again.
