How to tell if order long or short
In OnExecutionUpdate I get order from execution.Order. How can I tell if this order is long or short? Is this reflected in order.Quantity (positive for long, negative for short)? Or is it determined some other way?

Hi westofpluto, thanks for posting.
You can use signal names to identify orders from OnExecutionUpdate. e.g.
EnterShort("ShortSignal");
EnterLong("LongSignal");
In OnExecutionUpdate, these can be identified with execution.Name
We have a related example here:

Kind regards,
