Highest Low/Lowest High Trailing Stop Loss

I'm trying to create a trailing stop tick chart, trailing the highest low or the lowest high of a candlestick. Any responses would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello mostbp432,

    Thanks for your post.

Just to clarify you are not trying to create a "trailing stop tick chart" but wanting to create a Trailing stop for a strategy?

How are you determining the Highest Low or Lowest High?

Do the chart examples show what you are trying to do or how it is performing now?

Are you using the Strategy Builder or working directly in Ninjascript?

Trailing stop on a tick chart, sorry lol. Low of previous candle on a up trend and high of the previous candle on a down trend. Chart examples is to point out what I want to do or how I want it to look more or less. I haven't used anything to build it, I'm new to building strategies.

        Hello mostbp432,

        Thanks for your reply.

Are you using the Strategy Builder or working directly in Ninjascript?

What means are you using to determine an uptrend or downtrend?

You may want to look at some existing indicators that may provide what you need from our NT User Apps section of the NinjaTrader ecosystem.

This indicator is publicly available on our NinjaTrader Ecosystem website:

Here is a basic guideline of how to import NinjaScript add-ons in NinjaTrader 8:
Note — To import NinjaScripts you will need the original .zip file.

        To Import:

Download the NinjaScripts to your desktop, keep them in the compressed .zip file.
From the Control Center window select the menu Tools > Import > NinjaScript Add-on...
        Select the downloaded .zip file
NinjaTrader will then confirm if the import has been successful.
Critical - Specifically for some NinjaScripts, it will prompt that you are running newer versions of @SMA, @EMA, etc. and ask if you want to replace, press 'No'

Once installed, you may add the indicator to a chart by:
Right-click your chart > Indicators... > Select the Indicator from the 'Available' list on the left > Add > OK
