I ran my strategy, 1 round trip trade. IDK why it sent an extra order (which was canceled by the broker)
My problem is I'm trying to change to end my strategy and go to demo simulation mode but it wont let me cause it thinks theres an open order
    but there really isnt.
I have "Wait until Flat, synchronize" on for my strategy
but I noticed on my control center, it said Synchronize=false
    thanks

    Hello ezrollin,

Account positions can be seen on the Positions tab of the Control Center.
    https://ninjatrader.com/support/help...ThePositionTab

Right-click the open position, click Close Position.

While Global Simulation Mode is disabled, you can still manually trade the Sim101 and enable an instance of a NinjaScript Strategy with the Sim101 account selected in the Account drop-down.
Global Simulation Mode would prevent you from selecting your live account in the Account drop-down when enabled, but does not remove the Sim101 account when disabled.

Note, do not change the Account selection of strategy once the strategy has been enabled.
NinjaTrader matches the previously submitted trades from the strategy for the Start behavior. With 'Wait until flat', all previously submitted orders must be cancelled before the strategy can start. Changing the Account selection will prevent NinjaTrader from being able to cancel the orders made to the previous account.

Instead of changing the Account selection on an existing instance of the strategy, add a new instance of the strategy and select the other account when first adding the instance.

Regarding sending an extra order, was the strategy calling an exit order and entry order at the same time with the managed approach?

Ya I saw that but it wouldnt let me manually close it or flatten everything
It says it would result in an overbought/oversold condition.

This is on the SIM 101 account that has $100,000 buying power
Was it thinking it was trying to mistakenly short shares from a stop out?

            Hello ezrollin,

CRITICAL — If your inquiry involves live orders, please always reach out to your broker's Orders Desk immediately to confirm and manage your live orders and positions.

As the Close Position is causing a brokerage error response, open a chart to the AAPL instrument and place a sell market order with a quantity of 4.

The error typically occurs if the wrong order action is sent with the close position order Sell vs SellShort, Buy vs BuyToCover. TD Ameritrade is particularly sensitive with the order actions and we may (or may not) have a platform bug sending the wrong order action.

Please send an email to platformsupport [at] ninjatrader [dot] com so that I may request your log and trace files and if necessary write up a report for our developers.
In the email please include a link to this forum thread.

As a tip, you can also remove the Account display name column or Account name column (temporarily) in the Position tab properties window if you do not want this information displayed.

              Hello ezrollin,

More information needs to be known.

What is the Cash Value for the Sim101 shown on the Accounts tab of the Control Center?
Are there any open positions for whatever instrument this order was placed to on the Sim101 account?
What instrument is the order placed on?
Does the order have a Name on the Orders tab of the Control Center? If so, what is the name of the order?
Do you have a risk template applied to the Sim101?
