    Why do I have all these filled orders on playback when I dont even have a strategy running?
    Is this normal?
    Is it normal to have PnL when the market is closed and I dont have a position and I've flattened and synchronized everything?
    Is there a cache I can clear or something? thanks

      Have you tried turning off 'Plot Executions'?
      * Data Series > Plot Executions> Text and Marker

      Have you tried resetting Sim101?

      Why reset Sim101?
      For NT8, I think Playback101 inherits from Sim101.

      It doesn't look like you can reset Playback101 directly, so
      you'll need to disconnect from Playback Connection in order
      to see the Sim101 in the Accounts tab.

      To reset Sim101,
      * From the NinjaTrader Control Center window select the Accounts tab
      * Right click on the desired simulation account and select 'Edit Account'
      * A popup dialog appears, click 'reset' in lower right
      * Make sure 'Clear History' is checked
      * Click Yes button to confirm reset

      [EDIT: Oh good, it looks like NT8 displays Sim101 in the Accounts tab
      when all connections are disconnected. NT7 didn't do this, you'd have to
      connect to something to make NT7 show you Sim101. Updated my
      comments above to reflect this new realization.]

      Good luck!

            Well, that's weird.

            Have you tried resetting the database?

            Maybe you can reset Sim101 after that ...

              You could try the Nuclear option.

              Delete your database file NinjaTrader.sdf, located in the db folder.

              The only thing of significance you'd lose is all Trade History from all accounts,
              which is not a big deal unless you have important history from a live account
              that you need to keep, say for performance reports. You might also lose any
              custom settings for any instruments -- but these can be re-added.

              Your choice.

              But, you don't really need to delete the file, just rename the file, like this,

              * Exit NinjaTrader
              * Goto db folder
              * Rename 'NinjaTrader.sdf' to something else, like 'KeepNinjaTrader.sdf'
              + Keep Windows Explorer open to watch db folder
              * Start NinjaTrader
              + You'll see NT8 auto recreate an empty NinjaTrader.sdf

              A brand new empty NinjaTrader.sdf file should solve your problem.

              If not, reverse the rename and wait for the cavalry,

              * Exit NinjaTrader
              * Reverse the file name
              * Start NinjaTrader

                Btw, if you have a lot of history, it may not be locked up.

                Clearing a lot of history can take quite some time.

                Try giving it an enormous amount of time, like 15-30mins,
                just to be sure.

                    Hello ezrollin,

                    These could be historical executions from a strategy, or could orders submitted in real-time to the account.

                    Disconnecting and re-connecting the Playback connection would remove any orders submitted while the Playback was connected.

                    A strategy can be set to not place orders until real-time.
