Hello ezrollin,
You can apply a builder strategy to a heiken ashi chart, that would be no different that any other bars type in that use case. The strategy always uses Open/High/Low/Close in its conditions. Heiken ashi bars are averaged so submitting orders based on those prices can result in fills in other places depending on what the actual market prices are.

Hello ezrollin,
You are in the Additional data tab of the builder, that is not the same as applying the strategy on a chart. Additional data is secondary data and you cannot use complex bars types as secondary data in the builder.
You can use heiken ashi bars but you would have to select that as the primary when you actually apply the strategy. You could use 1 minute bars as a secondary in that use case.
If you wanted 1 minute bars as the primary and for order submission then you would need to manually code the strategy so you can use AddHeikenAshi: https://ninjatrader.com/support/help...=AddHeikenAshiJesseNinjaTrader Customer Service
