NT8 Strategy Analyzer Short 100% wins

Testing a fairly simple strategy using NT 8.0.2.0 64-bit (Standard) with data downloaded from Kinetic end of day including all ticks, etc...

No matter what profit target I set the Strategy Analyzer shows profit target hit on the opening bar in a 1 minute TF. A target of 3 to 99 will always hit in the trade opening bar. Great that it cannot lose (LOL.)

This does not seem like it would be specific to my implementation or downloaded data.

May I request this be corrected ASAP?

Hello JMont1,

You are using Kinetick End of Day data is this correct? This connection does not have minute data, it only has End of Day data (daily data).

This means you could not backtest a 1 minute TF chart using the Kinetick End of Day connection.

Are you certain you have not connected to a different data source for data?

If you would like intra-day data you will need to subscribe to a data provider.

Chelsea, I have used Rithmic downloads but the latest download I used was Kinetic End of day. I thought it provided all the levels of data checked on the download.

I have now used Rithmic again to download all boxes checked. Tested the strategy again and still get a 98% win at a profit target of 999 which is obviously not correct.

Please let me know where to go from here.

I have created a simple script that places an order with a profit target and has no other logic.
I am not able to reproduce this behavior.

Please test this script on your end taking the same steps in the video. Please let me know if you get different behavior.
