    Strategy Analyzer Optimization Error

    I'm having instances where the optimization results don't align with the detail of the optimization. See attached images.

    Thank you for your post.

    Do you have a strategy that we may test on our end that produces this behavior? If so, please send the file to platformsupport[at]ninjatrader[dot]com with 'ATTN: Patrick H' in the subject line and a reference to this thread.

    You can export your strategy by going to Tools > Export > NinjaScript Add On > Add > select your strategy > OK > Export > name the file 'NTsupport' > Save.
    The file will be located under Documents\NinjaTrader 8\bin\Custom\ExportNinjaScript.

      Hi Patrick
      I've been trying to solve the issue on my side, and it appears to have nothing to do with the strategy itself (as it happens with the sample strategies as well).

      Here are the things that seem to clear up the issue:
      a) create a new workspace with a new instance of strategy analyzer
      b) clearing my temporary cache and rebooting my machine

      Not sure how optimization results are cached to disk but clearly that is where the problems appear to be happening.

        The additional details are very helpful. May I ask if you upgrade to NinjaTrader 8.0.6.0, do you still see the same behavior?

        To upgrade NinjaTrader, please follow the steps below.
        • First get your license key from NinjaTrader under Help> License Key then exit NinjaTrader
        • Click on the link: http://ninjatrader.com/PlatformDirect
        • Enter your license key and press Submit
        • Select 'NinjaTrader 8'
        • Select 'Download'
        • Critical: Before running the installer, ensure NinjaTrader is closed.

          Can you provide details on this occurring with the SampleMaCrossover? If possible can you detail the steps you take and the instrument and bar type used?

          Any screenshots of the SampleMaCrossover you can provide will be helpful as well.
