Volumetric chart, bar spacing.

Hello,

Is it possible to limit the max width of the volumetric chart (ladder) bars? The reason is that I would like to place another indicator, for instance, volume profile to the left/right, and on a normal chart this is fine, as you can change the bar width, yet still scale the horizontal access, leaving black space to use. With volumetric chart, there is no bar width it seems, so when you scale left/right, the bar always fills the whole space, even when this is not at all needed.

If not possible, it would be great if you could specify the bar width as you can with most other bar types, in the volumetric charts.

You're correct - there is no traditional bar width when using the Volumetric bar type.

Please note that deciding on features for future releases is not a simple black and white decision. There are many factors involved including but not limited to:

• Demand which is measured by objective user requests and subjective discretion on the part of our Product Management team.
• Feasibility
• Developer bandwidth
• Current projects in the queue
• Economics

lol. In the time it takes NT to even consider this feature, I completely built my own, better, alternative! It's the only way to go as NT rarely implements user suggestions as far as I can see. At least the platform does allow you to do this (if you have the time/skills/dedication, which most don't). There are 100's (if not 1000's) of trivial things like this that come from real traders that would benefit the product, but I cannot say (apart from 1 recent release, sadly an 8.1.x version), that I've ever seen many if any of the suggestions implemented. The marketing dept and actual traders don't quite have the same brains!
