I want to thank you for the great work. The COT indicator is awesome.

I have a further question: I tried to plot a stochastic indicator based on NetCommercials and another one based on NetNonCommercials, but the same output is plotted. Is there a possibility to
solve this?

Glad you like the new COT indicator!

The NinjaTrader Stochastics indicator will not be able to use any other indicator as an input as the Stochastic uses the High and Low price data series as the only input.

You can use a modified Stochastics indicator that will use any input series. This indicator is available in the NT user apps section. Link to the indicator below.

Dear Paul,

I tried to use the modified Stochastics indicator you mentioned. It works with nearly every input e.g. SMA and ATR). But unfortunately not with the COT indicator (e.g. NetCommercials and OpenInterest).

I also thank you for the super helpful Cot indicator, I have a question about whether or how it is possible eg. to put commercial short in relation to the Open Interrest? Commercial Short / Open Interrest

Thanks for your first post on the forums.

There is no means in the indicator to divide one plot by the other.

I will create a feature request for this and will update this thread when I have the feature request number.

I am not aware of any changes in the COT since its initial release in 8.0.22.0.

Under the report of CIT supplement, I do see Index Trader, long.short, and Net, if that is what you are looking for.

The COT has been integrated with the platform so you would find it in the indicators list as COT. This was added starting in version 8.0.22.0
