NinjaTrader blocked in Russia

As many already know, NinjaTrader was blocked in Russia after 29.09.2020.

The reason for blocking, according link to legal document - calls for riots, extremist activities. That's absolutely not logical and looks like someone's mistake.


I would like to know - how will Ninjatrader going to solve this problem and when?
Is there any work being done to resolve the issue. Or NT just waiting for it to be decided by itself?

A temporary solution to this issue is to work via VPN. It must be installed on your computer so that the platform can connect to the NinjaTrader server. Possible publicly available options:

There has been a lot of time, but nothing has changed.
I would like to know - was any actions made by NT to remove blockages and what's happened in result?

We reached out to the appropriate authorities but were unable to persuade them to take corrective action to unblock NinjaTrader. Unfortunately, NinjaTrader has no direct control over this situation.

You could also use a server located in Chicago, USA to connect to NinjaTrader. In addition to the the VPN options NinjaTrader_Marco provided, a remote server located in Chicago would give you the lowest latency to NinjaTrader broker (1 ms).

Unfortunately, there is still no solution to the problem, and it's only one solution - to use tricks that carry additional risks and costs (VPS).
The solution is a request through a law firm in Russia (on your behalf) to remove an obviously strange blocking decision.
A year has passed since the problem is urgent. That's not very fun, and even there are doubts that you at least tried.
