The OHLC bar type on the chart

With the OHLC chart, Is it possible to "widen" the O and the C price markers while keeping the bar thin? Or selectively make the markers brighter than the bar?

    Hello phta123,

    Thank you for your post.

This would, unfortunately, not be possible when using the pre-configured OHLC bars. The length of the Open and Close flag markers are determined by the overall bar width, and the color of them cannot be individually customized. The flag markers definitely become much more easily visible when the bar width is set to around 5-6 but this would also increase the width of the bar as well.

With that said, something like what you describe would definitely possible with custom NinjaScript programming. NinjaTrader does not directly offer programming services but there are a number of vendors in our ecosystem that could provide you with a quote for creating a custom chart style such as this. If you are interested in having something like this programmed and would like to contact a vendor for a quote, contact our Vendor Support team at vendorsupport(at)ninjatrader(dot)com and they can give you a list of consultants.

Lastly, you may also be able to find something available online by doing a search with a search engine. There are a huge number of third party vendors that create add-ons for NinjaTrader and I wouldn't be surprised if something like this exists somewhere out there.

Please let us know if we may assist with any further items in the future.
