Please Include Real Functionality for IB Friends & Family Accounts

Please include "real" functionality for Interactive Brokers FFA Friends & Family Accounts (advisor accounts) in NT 7!

One single DOM which can really manage trades of different IB subaccounts (not only like now to be able to send entries to an account group but than being forced to manage each account in its own DOM seperately)!

And includ IBs subaccount profile or subaccount allocation functionality, so that we could send signals to one master account at IB where IBs TWS does the individual allocation on its own.

Thanks Kyle, if you could have something as easy as allowing us to pass an "Allocation Profile" string name into your function we would be set. It goes without saying that TWS will need to know what to do with it!

We would just have to create and manage the profiles in TWS manually.

it would be so much easier and would save us $$ in brokerage fees, if we could place 1 order that TWS splits according to the allocation profile passed in, instead of sending out 1 order for each account.

This is very easy to implement. I can't understand why ninja doesn't have this basic feature, which is being requested by ninja users for years.
Competitor platforms implemented this in a very simple way. In the most basic form it is only one parameter to pass to the tws api.

Any new news on the TWS + NT7 not supporting Advisor sub-accounts issue? I'm waiting on this issue to be fixed before signing up for an NT license since it's worthless to me w/o support for sub-accounts

We're awaiting development on the IB side to resolve this bug within TWS. Unfortunately, there is no ETA for the resolution of this issue currently.

How could they support FA allocation profiles if it was a mere TWS bug?

Hi barabba,

We're speaking of two different things.

The bug is that when any third-party software connects to TWS, it's impossible for FA account holders to select another sub account within TWS.

The issue you're referring to isn't a bug but a limitation. The allocation profiles are a feature native to TWS which NinjaTrader cannot use.
