NT6 not closing properly

    NT6 not closing properly

    NT 6 has twice has not closed, but instead software hasremained open in the background... ie NT windows are gone, but when I next hit shut down, windows stops shut down process until I manually deleat hiddenNT6 program using "contol alt del"

    Hmm .. weird. I just added more traces to next NT6 beta to understand what's going on there. In case this happens again after installing next beta (out in a few days): please send traces and logs to dierk AT ninjatrader DOT com.

      Where on your site does it list what is the current beta version... ie v6.007 vs v6.006

      I can't find it and it would be very helpful to set up a clear button listing the latest release with its number so that one can compair that number to the version they have currently installed.

        As you go to downloading NT via

        it clearly says that you can download "Version 6 Beta 6" (which now is out for more than 2 weeks).

        NT6B7 announcement will follow as it's available.

          So one has to first imput their license key to find out if there is a newer version to download...Might list it on tlhe page so we don't go through all of that just to check...

            As an NT user you can start NT and go Help->Download Site.

            However: Right now there is a bug in NT which will cause if fail in case the file exptension ".htm" is not assiciated to a browser app. This will be fxied with next beta.

              I am getting the same behavior.

              NT6 B6 crashes on every shut down. Also once or twice it has crashed during the trading session, when I went to restart I got a message saying I can only run 1 instance of NT. It was hanging in the background, and lasted a solid 15 minutes. When it happens nowI am forced to Ctrl- Alt-Del / "End Process"

              Another issue is, when trying to restart NT after a crash and IB account is already open, it would refuse the connection to IB. Which meant I had to shut down IB, restart NT, and then restart IB, in that order.
