At a minimum, allow the price level to be changed by dragging and dropping the line on the chart.
The horizontal line drawing tool can do this. It would make changing the price level so much easier.
The current method of editing the Price Alert indicator properties requires too many mouse clicks
and is far too tedious to repeat on multiple charts!
I also think that these other features would make it a great indicator:
***allow alerts to generate email (and by extension, SMS messages by using SMS address as the email)
*allow user-selectable WAVs from the Ninja sounds folder to play as the alert
**allow a re-arm delay for X bars or X minutes to avoid multiple alerts in a short time
*allow start & end times to the types of alerts (i.e. the user could set
the WAV alerts active during the day session when likely to be at the PC,
and the emails active after hours when likely to be away from the PC, etc.)
**add restrictions to the alert such as:
~cross above (only)
~cross below (only)
~close above (only)
~close below (only)
~play X number of times (0=play every time alert is triggered, 1=play alert only once, 2=twice, etc.)
Alternatively, if these features could be added to the drawing tools, instead of just the Price indicator,
it would open up many more possibilities for creative usage...
For example:
The user could be alerted to trendline breaks when price crosses a diagonal line/ray.
The rectangle tool could alert on a range breakout, or end of a time period (at the right edge of the box).
The vertical line could function as a timer or reminder, since the alert would trigger when the bar opens on that time period.
I'd be happy to see changes to either the Price Alert indicator, or Drawing Tools, whichever is easier for you.
Thank you.
