Suggestions: Ctrl-mouse wheel Zoom...

Hi!

There are several graphics programs that all use the Ctrl-mouse mouse wheel to zoom. It would be great to have that same ability in NT. People familiar with those programs would find NT very easy to navigate. Another option that would be great is to give us the ability to map our own hotkeys/mouse clicks.

While I'm in dream mode, I think it would be great if we zoom in close enough, that we automatically go to the next timeframe. So if I start on a daily chart and zoom close enough it would turn into a 240min, then 60min then 30 etc. All by simply holding the ctrl and using the mouse wheel!

Another major feature that we absolutely need, is the ability to pan vertically. I have seen several requests for this so you can add 1 more request to the list.

We also need a button on all windows to minimize ALL.

Thank you for your post and suggestions. I will forward these to our development team for future considerations.

When you say Pan Vertically are you referring to moving the chart up and down as apposed to compressing and expanding chart bars? If so this option is available within NinjaTrader 7 and can be achieved with the steps I have provided below:

• Move your mouse to the Y-Axis
• Hold down the Ctrl button
• Hold down the left mouse button
• While holding down both buttons move the mouse up or down

AWESOME! That's what I was thinking. I'm not sure how I missed that one...

My first thought is that its a little cumbersome and not very intuitive. I think it would make more sense to have the ability to move the charts around with your mouse. We can pan left and right - why not up and down too.

But Ill play around with it and let you know what I think.
