    Hotkeys Hotkeys Hotkeys

    PLEASE GIVES US HOTKEYS!
We want hotkeys, we want hotkeys...

Thanks for your suggestion. Could you please compile a list a feature you would to see driven by hotkeys? Thus we could consider it for our future development.

    Thanks

Buy market and limit, Sell market and limit ,cancel , breakeven, flatten and reverse would be nice. Txs!

It makes more logical sense to have the crosshair hotkeys a toggle between regular and crosshair mode. Pressing Ctrl+Q to bring up crosshairs and having to press Ctrl+R to turn it off just doesn't feel right.

Also a global hotkey for bringing up the Output Window would be very much appreciated.

Any of the F1-F12 keys would be awesome for buy/sell market orders.

Not sure I understand the value of hotkeys. Isn't it just as eays to use the chart trader function, all the functions are there

The value is the keyboard is faster than the mouse. To actually click those buttons you have to have your mouse hovering over them in anticipation and you can't be in another window. This is most prominent when you are using multiple monitors and your mouse is on monitor z, but the chart trader is on monitor x. It takes an eternity to move your mouse back to monitor x.

But again, the problem with having hotkeys for buy/sell is how does NinjaTrader know which instrument to buy/sell.

Ucavax, the current open chart, so if you have a few different instruments open, the active chart resorts to the hotkeys.

Yes thats the logically solution, but it isn't of much help to a multiple monitor user. You can't expect the user to have in focus the instrument they want to trade on every monitor they use. It would still require them to bring the mouse all the way back to wherever the chart for the instrument to be traded is on.

A hotkey to return charts to default x/y axis scaling. If not a hotkey at least a regular button/right click option to do so.

                        yes we need hotkeys

i sjut started with ninja and can't believe no hotkeys. xtrader and even stategy runner have them program the f1-f12 keys for everything from amrket buy and sells to buy and bid and sell at ask to cancels. its very important to ge them

A hotkey to reload data on a chart would be nice too.

                            Hi,

Why stop at hotkeys, why not add support for joysticks. it's been done before with IB.

lol. Well most joystick apps will allow for mapping to various keys already so all we need is the hotkey and just map the joystick buttons/axes to those hotkeys.
