Market Analyzer Cut & Past Support

Please allow Cut, Copy & Past to and from the Clipboard on the Market Analyzer rows.
Also for multiple symbols. For instant a Excel column with tickers that is copied should be past-able into the Market analyzer.

    Usable for:

    1. Cut and past a multiple symbols from between market analyzer
    2. Cut & Past from and to an Excel sheet (<- high usable )
    3. Cut & Past from and to the clipboard single ticker into the MA

And please allow the Market analyzer to import a symbol list from disk. This is much easier than first import the list to the instrument manager and than add this list to the MA

It seems like MA does not support copy/paste. MA is a spread sheet basically, and should support copy/paste. Adding symbol list takes too much work.

Can use add a symbol on MA by code?

      Thanks.

        Hello ccl3093,

        Thank you for your post.

It is not possible to add symbols via code to the Market Analyzer. However, simply typing into the Market Analyzer and other windows to add or change instruments is planned for the next major release of NinjaTrader.

I believe that user can type in to add symbol on MA now. How about copy/paste?

          Thanks.

1). I am new to NT. I am surprised that every grid of NT does not support copy/paste. During simulation, how can a user to save the performance of positions and accounts for analysis. I think the copy/paste is the most basic feature of any spread sheet/grid.

2). I don't know if "accounts" tab has "unrealized" column. Accounts tab should have it.

                Thanks.

                  Hello ccl3093,

                  Thank you for your response.

                  1. You can export the information in multiple ways, please visit the following link for information on Data Grids in NinjaTrader: http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/h...data_grids.htm

                  2. The Accounts tab provides information on the account at any time an account update is received or made. Please review the information at the following link on what is provided by each connectivity provider on the Accounts tab: http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/h...counts_tab.htm
Information like unrealized profit on one account would have to be of all open positions on the account and provided from the brokerage technology. Unfortunately, NinjaTrader does not track this value for the account as a whole.

                    Hi Patrick,

It will be nicer for NT to add unrealize profit for sim account.

Is it possible to check/output the profit of sim account on fly instead of EOD?

                    Thank you!

                      Hello ccl3093,

                      Thank you for your response.

I will forward the unrealized PnL suggestion to our development team.

For the current Performance you can use the Account Performance tab of the Control Center, but this will only show closed trades. For the open positions you would need to check the PnL on the Positions tab. For information on the Control Center tabs please visit the following link: http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/h...rol_center.htm

I noticed that CTRL+C will copy the curent row

Is there a way to copy all the rows to the clipboard? That would be great...

                            Hello NinjaCustomer,

I am not aware of this option, but you can right click > select Grid > and there are various options available: http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/h...data_grids.htm
