Reversal Chart Type

Would you please add the reversal chart type to the next upgrade. This is available on most platforms and would be useful tool in addition to the other chart types you got.

Thanks for the forum post.

We added Point and Figure Reversal Charts and 3 line break reversal charts with our NinjaTrader 7 release.

If you need a new type of reversal chart I would have to ask you to be more specific in which kind of reversal chart you are looking for. In the case of these two reversal chart types the suggestions were added to our NinjaTrader 7 release.

Thanxs for your reply. I am looking for a reversal candlestick or OHLC Chart. I find the Point and Figure chart bit visually challenging. A simple candlestick chart which plots a 5/6 tick reversal.

I see reversal on my NT

Reversal chart type got installed on my NT 7 when I took trial version of an indicator from one of the third party NT partner. I dont see that when I installed NT on the other machine.

I dont believe and indicator coder can build a new chart type. Can he ?

The indicator would need to be imported on this secondary PC as well. NinjaTrader would not share settings between the two instances.

Correct, I uninstalled the indicator and reversal option in the chart setup is gone. I am back to PNF reversals

Great. This is the default settings in NT7.
