NinjaTrader compatible with CFD

Currently CFD products are not supported in NinjaTrader. However, I will forward your suggestion to our Development Department so they can research it further.

Hi

i read this post, the CFD are also very popular in France... i'm working a lot on system on the Forex basic in really short term and when i test it on the Forex Future CME it is working badly !

so it would be easier for me to trade the CFD... some broker as WH Selfinvest in Luxemburg (i'm not working for them) propose the Future Forex and also the CFD, it is possible to trade the future with NT but not the CFD... it is a pity...

Also, this is a question of cash... 1 future EURUSD you need 8800€ of margin... and very less for 10 CFD !!! (the equivalent)

I spoke to FXCM who said they now support it but im not sure the guy knew what he was talking about.

The next major release of NinjaTrader added support for CFD’s as a new Asset type available for supported brokerage technologies(FXCM, Interactive Brokers as of this writing)

I have heard back from development and we are tracking supporting the connectivity for more CFD brokers such as IG Markets with ID# 1232.
