Market Analyzer alert to send email

It would be great to send an email when a MA alert condition is met.
I track 30 forex pairs on 3 intraday timeframes. If I want to know (via SMS) if a certain condition is met, I would need to create 90 charts with an indicator that sends an email to my SMS service, which sends an SMS to my phone.
If MA could send emails, I would not need 90 charts open.

Hello astrolobe,

You could create one Market Analyzer window that contains all 30 forex instruments and add the indicator that sends emails using an Indicator column for each time frame. More information can be found at the link below.

Hi ~ I've just found this post. I would like to send myself email (or SMS) when the Market Analyzer fires an alert. How can I do this?

Hello,
You would need to create an indicator that triggers an email alert when your conditions are met and then apply that indicator to your market analyzer. You can have an indicator send an email by using the SendMail() method. Thanks CodyB. I'm using a proprietary indicator which does not have an email option. In the Market Analyser there is an option to check "Alerts", which sends the time/text from the indicator to the Alerts window when the criteria is met. I would have though it would be simple to have an option to "Send email", to send the same information to the email address specified under Options>Misc?

Unfortunately the alert email functionality does not work with the market analyzer.
I will be submitting a feature request for this to be implemented for future versions of NinajTrader.
