    Calendar days?

    Hello guys,

I thought Equidistant bar spacing would do the trick finally. It will bring calendar days feature to NT7. But, it didn't.

Information about equidistant bar spacing is confusing anyway.
But Brett clarified it very well in this thread

Now it's clear time gaps are not supported for minute, hourly, daily charts.

So, is it possible in the (near ) future to have equidistant bar spacing (calendar days) on minute-based and daily charts?

How many people want this feature?

      mishhh...

In the Session Manager...take a look at the Default 24/7 template (you can set that up for your time zone)....left screen shot below....that will give you calendar days...or you can set up a custom session that will show 7 day times of your choice....one example right screen shot below...would something like these give you what you want...??

      Thanks...

        Alfred,

first, sorry for delayed response (weekend)

I tried your idea, and it doesn't work. Not for my need anyway.
I need to see spaces between fridays and mondays, and the same for holidays.
"True" fixed time line, or true equidistant bar spacing.

Anyway, thank you very much for your idea and effort. I appreciate it.

            HEY!
            Nice one Alfred

I loaded eurusd with session 24/7 and it worked.

I still don't get it. What's the default session anyway?... I will look into it.

I have only free eod daily from kinetick (or yahoo) with ninjatrader.

            But it works.
            Weekends are empty as time

            I'm happy :P

            Thank you.

            Bless you

            ps
I still don't get what's the difference between session 24/7 and default session.
But I'll look into it later

            ps2.
Support guys told me it's not possible to have fixed time line (calendar time) for minute based charts.
You can only have for ticks and volume.
They told me you will not see any difference of Equidistant bar spacing on minute based charts (daily included)
