    Market replay, resets to begining

    Hi,

    When I'm replaying market replay and click on the beginning date field to bring up the calendar to check for example which day of the week the replay is in, when I press escape on the keyboard to exit the calendar dialog the replay resets and goes back to the beginning of the replay preiod. I hope this is not intentional and can be fixed.

    Thank you for your post.

    I am not able to reproduce. When I select the Escape Key, the beginning date field is on the same date I selected.

    Can you please tell me the version of NinjaTrader you are using, NT V7.0.1000.6? You can check this in Help--> About

    Please give me exact steps required to reproduce this issue.

        Hello,

        Thank you for the detailed example.

        I can reproduce, however this is by design. When you select a new day, or exit out of the calender view which resets to the day selected, it will revert back to 12:00AM.

        The market replay controller will always default to the first hour which data is available.

        You should select the date you wish to replay, and then set the time.

          Would it be hard to add a confirmation dialog? If I am testing a bunch of strategies with market replay and after a month (market replay month) of testing all results get reset without warning it is very frustrating.

              Thank you for taking the time to provide us with the feedback to aid with improving NinjaTrader. Since the type of functionality you are seeking is not presently supported within NinjaTrader, I have documented this particular feature request and have sent it to our product development team and they have designated ID # 1053 so this request may be tracked.
