I'm using the direct version. I would like to add to any suggestions you may have to build messaging into the charts to you can send messages privately to friends from the trading platform. I'm not sure if the messages should go to a public messaging server such as Twitter, or a private Ninja Trader text chat server where users can create public and private rooms, but one or the other.
By sending a (tweet) message directly from a chart it would be nice to have the first line of the message automatically filled in with the Symbol, Month, (time frame), Date, Time, and Chart template. Similar to the information on the title bar of a chart. This would save time typing in the reference information to communicate what chart you are looking at.
The second line would be the user's custom message. Third and fourth lines could be optional order and position info, see below.
The idea is you just click on any chart at any time and send a message. Perhaps you could put the message on your chart where you clicked as one of the chart options as well. People could message back and forth to alert each other to what they are seeing with minimal typing that would take time and attention off the screen.
It would be good to have the system settings for messaging such as the following to include or exclude information in the message.
