    Automatic link to external sites.

    Hello

    I think it would be a nice idea to be able to have a "web window". This window could be linked in the standard fashion and it would load the website associated with the instrument selected in the market analyzer.

    Of course being new to NT I will probably get told that this already exists

    Welcome to NT - you can load the Instrument specs via hitting the 'Visit' button in your Instrument Manager for it in the URL colum (Tools > Instrument Manager > select your master instrument > Edit).

      Hi Bertrand

      I know about this function.

      That was not what I was suggesting.

      What I am suggesting is that you have a browser window (System.Windows.Forms.WebBrowser) managed by NT. This browser window would display the web page referenced by the url in the instrument detail.

      This window could then be linked as for a chart view to a market analyzer view. This means that when the instrument is selected in the Analyzer view the web page in the web browser is automatically updated.

      I think it would be neat.

        Thanks for clarifying your thoughts on how to improve NT further, I've added this item to our product management enhancement lists under #1726.

          Hi if I want to take this widget ( https://www.tradingview.com/widget/technical-analysis/)

          and make a custom indicator to show it in ninjatrader does ninjatrader 8 support this? and how would i go about inserting the widget code?

          <!-- TradingView Widget BEGIN -->
          <div class="tradingview-widget-container">
          <div class="tradingview-widget-container__widget"></div>
          <div class="tradingview-widget-copyright"><a href="https://www.tradingview.com/symbols/NASDAQ-AAPL/technicals/" rel="noopener" target="_blank"><span class="blue-text">Technical Analysis for AAPL</span></a> by TradingView</div>
          <script type="text/javascript" src="https://s3.tradingview.com/external-embedding/embed-widget-technical-analysis.js" async>
          {
          "width": 425,
          "height": 410,
          "symbol": "NASDAQ:AAPL",
          "locale": "en",
          "interval": "1D"
          }
          </script>
          </div>
          <!-- TradingView Widget END -->

            Hello gbux11,

            Thank you for your patience.

            Such implementation would not be supported through NinjaScript functions but could be achieved through unsupported C# code.

            WebView control for WPF would likely be used here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/win...nforms/webview

            Please let me know if I may be of further assistance.
