Market Replay end date

    Market Replay end date

    Hi guys

    Market Replay is a great tool and I've just learnt about 'Available Data' from another thread. Just what the Forum was designed for!

    May I make a suggestion: in the Replay Control, the end date always comes up initially as Nov 30 2099: a few years into the future! If you're not careful and forget to change this end date to 'Today' (easily done), the slider control becomes almost unworkable.

    Having this date in the future serves no real purpose at all.

    Would it be possible to, in a future update, to have the end date automatically select today's date? This seems to be a more logical approach.

    Strange. My 7.0.1000.8 ranges from 3/30/2010 to 7/13/2012

    Unless something changed in recent updates, I suspect you have something else going on there.

    (I record all my data, and don't download anything, if that matters).

      In my experience, at startup the MarketReplay From/To range will reflect the replay data available in C:\Users\....\Documents\NinjaTrader 7\db\data (the directories are named according to the date of replaydata they contain)

      To me it looks like you've got some bad data in there.

        market replay malfunction

        Im not gettign the control panel box when i connected to market replay connection?

            laredo,

            Please try using a new workspace before connecting to market replay. You can go to File > Workspace > New.
