Could we add a grid style charting option?

    Hi:

Could we add a Grid Style Charting option to be able to view multiple charts at one time in one compact grid? This is seen, for example, on Thinkorswim where they allow you to have selectable grids all the way up to 5 or 6 rows of 6 charts each to be able to have a sweeping overview of selected instruments. It would be a great feature.

Also, it would only take up 1 (one) TAB ... not multiple tabs for each of them...

If you have something similar now, please let me know but I don't think you do...

    Hello birdog,

    Thank you for your post.

You can currently create and use multiple data series within one chart window:

Please let me know if this helps to resolve the inquiry, or if I can provide any further assistance.

      I think he is suggesting a 2x2 or #x#...

        Hello sledge,

        Thank you for the clarification.

Since this type of functionality is not presently supported within NinjaTrader, I have documented this particular feature request and have sent it to our product development team.

Once I have a tracking ID for this particular feature request, I will update this thread.

          Sledge/Ryan:

Sledge...Yea, that is what I meant...see below and attached.

Yea, the current set up in Ninja is useful for some purposes...but, I meant being able to see multiple markets at once time like this (I have on this one 20 charts nicely laid out and they can expand on the fly for more detail as an example, but notice in the top right you can actually have a grid up to a wonderful 32 charts if one chose)...this is absolutely great for market overviews, correlations, big picture, etc...then, when opportunities surface one can expand and trade off the chart in Ninja or whatever...great for Strategy monitoring too in addition to the Strategies Tab...I think many folks would love this feature...I hope you guys put it near the top of the list!)...thanks to you both!!!:

          PLEASE SEE THE ATTACHED SCREENSHOT.

As a work around to organize your windows automatically you may use the steps I have provided below:
            • Right mouse click within the Windows taskbar
            • Select "Start Task Manager"
            • Go to the Applications tab of the Task Manager
            • While holding down the Ctrl key on your keyboard select the windows you would like organized
            • Once all windows have been selected Right mouse click and select "Tile Vertically" or "Tile Horizontally"
