    trading on laptop

I am used to trading on multi-screen desktop. Wanted to start trading on a laptop.
I was thinking I would have to get a 17" laptop.
I noticed the screen resolution on most 17's was 1600x900.
    Then I noticed a lot of the 15" ultra books have a 1920 x 1080 resolution.

What will yield the most real estate? resolution or size?

I will want one chart and the trading ladder up when I trade. The trading ladder seems to have minimal sizing features.

    Any recommendations would be great.
any thoughts on Win7 vs Win8

    Hello molite,

The minimum requirements list a screen resolution of 1024 X 768. So both exceed it. Upon using a higher the resolution, windows will appear smaller on your monitor.

Both screens should be sufficient to bring up a SuperDOM and a chart.
