Provide access from a limited account

NinjaTrader doesn’t work in a limited account. As a result, it can only be used in an administrator account, which is a security flaw. The administrator account is for installing and updating software, and maintaining hardware. It’s not for using software or the internet on a daily basis because to do so leaves the operating system vulnerable to attack from hackers and malware. It’s the job of the limited account to provide user access to e-mail, the internet, and software, thus protecting the operating system. NinjaTrader is ten years behind other software in this respect, which is really surprising.

Yes NinjaTrader still requires use with an Administrator account.
This suggestion has been submitted to our development team and is still undergoing consideration to be implemented into NinjaTrader 8.

You are correct, NinjaTrader would work in the administrator account and not the limited access ones. I will see if we can get details on this suggestions though.
