    Performance report

    Hi,

It would be very nice if you could add starting cash and ending cash balance for a specified period to the performance report together with the % return on the starting cash amount.

Thanks for your suggestion. We'll add it to the list of future considerations.

Note: The % value already is available as you toggle the report mode to "Percent" (see combobox at the top).

      Hi Dierk!

Thanks for your quick reply! But the % value I see in the report is not the % am looking for . I am looking for (amount of dollars made or lost for the specified period / starting cash for the specified period )x 100.

Right that's the CumProfit field in the Percent mode.

          Hi Dierk,

I will give you the actual numbers. The starting cash is $5000. The amount of money I made is $197. If I divide (197/5000) and multiply it by a 100 then the % cum. profit should be 3.94% but the report is showing me a % cum. profit of 8.38%.

Isn't "total net profit" what you are looking for?

No because the total net profit doesnt say anything about the % return I made on my money. To get the % return for a specified period you need to have the total net profit for that period (as shown in the performance report) and divide that through the starting cash balance for your account at the starting date for the specified period and multiply that by a 100 as shown in one of my previous posts. I hope this helps.
