Could you clarify this a bit?

Are you wanting to export a grid view to Excel?

Are you wanting to import some data from an Excel worksheet into NinjaTrader? If so, what data and where would this be used?

Hi Chelsea,

Basically I would like to automate writing values for example zig-zag times & prices in specific spreadsheet cells, then perform calculations (as well as use database functions such as vlookup, etc.) with this data in the spreadsheet and then for NT to read entry price values in specific cells to place entry orders.

An integrated spreadsheet can provide lots of flexibility & power when it comes to calculations and database functions I think.

Please let me know your thoughts?Is it likely this would be implemented?

Thanks for clarifying that for me.

I will be submitting this as a feature request in your behalf to our development department. I cannot say if this will be implimented as that will be up to our development department to decided.

I do see the usefulness of that and in the meantime you may want to look at the following thread for information about the unsupported method of reading an excel spreadsheet.
