Are there specific instruments that you are attempting to chart but cannot?

If the instruments are not available through the Rithmic data feed, you will need to contact Rithmic to request that these instruments/exchanges be added.

I'd like to confirm that these are not available though. What instruments are you attempting to chart?

While we do not have a European server option in NinjaTrader, you may want to check with your broker to see if they can set you up with a European server.

Connecting to European Gateway

I use Ninjatrader and have paid for the privilege, however I am based in Europe and my connection to Rithmic is very poor. I have screaming Internet service but the hop count to the US is very slow. I have proven this by moving over to sierra charts which allow me to choose which data server I connect to. Rithmic have a gateway in Ireland and i can connect to it. Sierra runs like a dream compared to Ninjatrader.
Please advise if you are going to provide an OPTION to choose which data provider and which gateway we wish to connect to.
This has been requested by others and unlike Sierra Charts Ninjatrader fail to deliver this option.
Please let me know (without saying we will pass on to development team as this never eventuates into anything) whether you will have this option up and running imminently before I make the decision to totally discard Ninjatrader in favour of charting packages that realise that not just US citizens trade the markets. There is a world outside of the US guys so please provide them the courtesy of a decent service.

Do you have your trading account with our NinjaTrader brokerage or is this a different broker?

Our tracking system contains the suggestion to support European server options within the connection wizard in NinjaTrader itself. Unfortunately I am not sure if and when it will be implemented.

I use a different broker.
That however should not affect the functionality of a $1000 trading platform.
Seriously, i will use another package as your support team just dont listen and this is an easy fix to add an option. Its so naive of Ninjatrader to not accommodate Europeans

As far as I know you can change this at your broker. Can you please contact them and check if your Rithmic connection can be configured to connect to European servers.

We have forwarded the suggestion to development and they put it on the list of possible future enhancements. I have forwarded your vote to support such functionality as well. Unfortunately I do not have information if and when it will be implemented in NinjaTrader.
